ECS Engineering was founded by Earl Calhoun, and began it's existence as Earl's Cycle Shop. When he began doing work overseas, more fabrication and development came into play... so the name changed to ECS Engineering. He has been involved in all divisions of racing, building, restoring, and providing parts for Harley-Davidson, and have been actively involved in racing them since the 1970's. Earl has personally raced in the Pro Stock, Pro Modified, and Pro Fuel categories, and enjoys the development side of the sport more so then chasing championships. Being personally involved in racing, Earl is intimately acquainted with the requirements for products, and knows first-hand how things change in using them. ECS's mission is to be able to provide high quality, innovative and cost effective products for their fellow racers. "We do not just go with the norm" says Calhoun, "we believe in taking a different approach by figuring out new and better ways, and not just the old monkey see-monkey do angle." |
