ECS Engineering has put over 15 months of development time into their product before hitting the market with their Engine Containment Strap system, and continues development each and every day while working with top name racers. There are a bunch of similar products on the market today, but none are adequate to do the job of insuring the highest level of safety for racers and their crews. ECS Engineering has tested many different designs and configurations which did not meet the S.F.I 46:1 specification, and as the result designed a strap system which would meet, and exceed, that spec - as required by the major sanctions of motorcycle drag racing. The unique aspect of this engine containment strap, is that every strap is custom made to fit it's application or bike. it will work on all types of fuel bikes that have motor plates. We can also adapt our strap to fit any engine case arrangement with some modifications by the racer/competitor/builder to their existing components, to achieve the utmost safety conditions using our strap. We can assist you in choosing the correct strap for your safety needs depending on clearance problems, access problems, etc..., for the strap. the strap comes with detailed instructions and all necessary mounting hardware and tools. All we need from you is a measurement of the distance around the engine case and heads. Our strap will then be custom made for your specific needs. We offer three versions of our containment strap, based upon the needs of the various class levels of competition, to be able to produce a cost effective product for everybody.

we had a real test of our engine containment strap in Sturgis, South Dakota, when the Pro
Fuel engine of High Noon Racing exploded shortly out of the burnout box. the ECS-supplied
strap completely contained the engine and there was no damage to the chassis, and most
importantly... the rider!
